Abstract

This paper describes the development of indoor monitoring system based on UHF RFID system and raspberry Pi 3. An algorithm is developed to link the UHF RFID reader module to the Raspberry Pi 3, send the data received to a database via wireless network, and display the data on a user interface module. To determine the best RFID tag for the system, the performance of two UHF RFID tags, UPM DogBone and AZ-9640 is held. The result is collected and tabulated, and it can be concluded that UPM DogBone shows better performance BECAUSE the size of the antenna is bigger than that of AZ-9640.
