Abstract

With the increasing development of wireless communication, the construction of mobile communication base stations is becoming more and more intensive, so the electromagnetic radiation safety problem brought by mobile communication base stations has become a focus of concern. Mechanism and characteristics of electromagnetic wave propagation (multiple reflection, diffraction and scattering) are comprehensively considered, and the electromagnetic distribution of mobile communication base stations in complex urban environment is simulated by using Ray Tracing method and Uniform Theory of Diffraction (UTD) for high frequency asymptotic method in this paper. The propagation path from the transmitter to the receiver is determined by using the Ray Tracing method, and the composite electric field of each propagation path is estimated by using the Uniform Theory of Diffraction. Taking a mobile communication base station in Xicheng District of Beijing as the research object, the antenna model and the scene model consistent with the actual channel scene are constructed. The radio propagation model is established based on the Ray Tracing method and Uniform Theory of Diffraction. The electromagnetic distribution of the ground and the outer surface of the building model in the study area are simulated and calculated, and the research content provides the basis for further wireless channel modeling and electromagnetic distribution research.
