Abstract

From a study of K indices of geomagnetic activity for two northern and two southern hemisphere stations for the 22 years 1940–1961, it is concluded that an annual variation, summer greater than winter, can be seen in middle latitudes to a greater or lesser degree in many, if not most, individual years.
