Abstract

Seeking corporate support is one way to achieve additional funding for library collections. Although relatively few librarians have taken advantage of these funds, librarians can be successful in gaining corporate support using both written and visual means. The purpose of this paper is to examine why corporations fund programs, and to show how business librarians can use this knowledge to obtain corporate support by writing a grant and giving a presentation.
