Window System Design Using Computer Analysis

Abstract

Soon after the styling door surface, glass drop, and belt height are determined, the placement of window system components is critical in effecting a smooth operating window system with low effort. For single arm-single post window systems, a computer analysis technique has been developed to position the post and regulator in the optimum location. The computer program used displays results with the aid of computer graphics. This graphic output allows instantaneous evaluation of how variations in geometry affect the window system operation.
