Abstract
Multiculturalism in Teachers’ Work
 The article relates to the issue of multiculturalism in teachers’ work. Issues are raised concerning the education of children belonging to both national and ethnic minorities, as well as concerning the education of foreign children, including children of migrants and refugees and children from mixed marriages. The following sections present subjects related to the right to learn and respect the cultural identity of children, education of national and ethnic minorities in Poland, and the education of foreign children in Poland in the context of multicultural educational opportunities and threats. Differences between the approaches to education of children who belong to national and ethnic minorities and foreign children are portrayed. The article presents issues of stereotyping and prejudice in the context of children.
