Abstract
Becoming a Church Member for the Second Time - Selected Results from Interviews. Lately the ProtestantMajority Churches in Germany have opened the opportunity for former churchmemberswhowould like to become amember of the Church again not only to do this through the pastor of the local parish but also through other special bureaus of the regional church. Excerpts from six interviews with persons who reentered the Church in this way in the city of Münster are presented and commented on. Motives, typical processes which lead back into the Church, and the patterns of the new relation to the Church are shown.
