Abstract
This 1.5 day workshop will bring together designers and researchers working on on-line communities, to discuss: (a) Existing understanding of real-world cummunities; (b) Experiences with the behaviour, implementation and design of on-line communities; (c) Lessons from traditional CSCW systems. We will develop design goals for such communities and identify oustanding research issues.
