Abstract

An on-chip planar inductor, planar capacitor and wide band CLC planar band pass filter is presented. Proposed on-chip planar inductor and capacitor exhibits a maximum inductance value of 7 nH, capacitance value of 150 fF, maximum quality factor of 21 and 1650 for inductor and capacitor respectively. The resonant frequency of the passive components is nearly 100 GHz. Wide band on-chip planar band pass filter is designed with the help of inductor and capacitor LC tank circuit. On-chip area occupied by the each component is observed as 50μm×50μm which is suitable for Sub-THz circuits. Proposed on-chip components and filter circuits is designed in High Frequency Structural Simulator. On-chip CLC band pass filter is designed and the centre frequency of the filter is observed as 80 GHz. CLC band pass filter On-chip area is 150μm×150μm which is suitable for Sub-THz circuits.
