Abstract

Several wideband balanced filters with wideband common mode suppression are proposed in this paper. Transmission zeros are used to improve the differential mode passband selectivity and common mode suppression. Different balanced filters can be realized by T-shaped structures, ring resonators. The bandwidth for the common mode suppression can be extended up to over three octaves. Good agreement can be found between the theoretical and measured results.
