Abstract

A technique to improve the maximum gain-bandwidth product of the current-feedback opamp is described. Simulated results using high speed complementary bipolar transistors demonstrate that closed-loop voltage gains of 100 can be achieved with maximum bandwidths of 100 MHz with slew rates of the order of 1000 V/μS.
