As a member of the Sub-Saharan region, Uganda is ranked as the 6th best country by the UNCTAD B2C E-Commerce Index 2018. Uganda's Postal Reliability is a little above average and needs to be further developed to reap better from e-commerce. This paper points some challenges faced by the sector and suggests ways in which the postal services may be transformed to effectively benefit from the economies of e-commerce.
