Abstract

Through the use of case examples, the authors present theconcept that behavior might best be viewed from the perspectiveof “goal directedness” as opposed to internal or externalcausality. With an understanding of the individual’s psychologicalmovement, teachers and counselors might be in a betterposition to provide more effective and inviting psychologicalservices to students.
