Abstract

This article by Martin E. Kantor views mergers and acquisitions from the investment banker's approach in counseling company executives on the securities market. The February issue of this magazine presented three articles on mergers and acquisitions in the hospitality industry by senior partners of Laventhol Krekstein Horwath & Horwath dealing with organizational and ac counting concepts. The series was developed from addresses given at the Seminar on Mergers and Acquisitions in the Hospitality Industry, held in November 1969 under the joint spon sorship of Cornell's School of Hotel Administra tion and Laventhol Krekstein Horwath & Hor wath. — Ed.
