Abstract

ABSTRACT This perspective article aims to promote disability conversations in HRD. Based on my own research and lived experience as a disabled scholar and faculty member in HRD, I offer some insight on why disability inclusion in the workplace matters and what practical actions HRD professionals can take to make disability visible and included in our educational institutions, workplaces, and communities. I further call for a move towards a learning culture that fosters humanness in organisations, where disability is embraced and supported as one of many forms of human diversity.
