Abstract

The arguments offered for and against various interpretations of quantum mechanics at the Solvay Conference on physics in 1927 are examined, and the Bayesian framework of ‘Logical Learning’ is applied in an attempt to elucidate the fast and widespread acceptance of the ‘Copenhagen interpretation’ in the contemporary scientific community.
