Abstract
This papers discusses the New Testament studies in Africa, unlike those in an Anglo-American setting, tend not to stand on their own βAfrican biblical studies is one strand in the closely woven cord that is African Theology. The separation of biblical studies from other theological disciplines, so common elsewhere, does not happen in African biblical studies.
