Abstract

Thoracic aortopathy is a silent but deadly disease affecting people of all ages. In this Practice Paper, we briefly outline clinical considerations guiding screening and prophylactic surgical practices for thoracic aortic aneurysm in adults, and highlight areas of clinical uncertainty that should serve as motivation for future research studies in the field.
