Abstract
Evidence-Based Answer Oral eletriptan and rizatriptan appear to be more likely than oral sumatriptan to achieve a pain-free response at 2 hours for moderate to severe migraines. All triptans were more effective than placebo at relieving pain at 2 hours (SOR: A, systematic review of RCTs).
