Abstract
The coronavirus disease 2019 has shined a spotlight on healthcare workers and required an expansion of roles and duties for those on the front line. However, several team members have been left out of the spotlight. At a time when each team member is a necessary part of improving patient outcomes, decreasing workplace stress, and maintaining job satisfaction, all healthcare workers should be recognized for the unique and essential role that they play. The “front line” should include not only physicians and nurses, but also pharmacists, radiology technicians, respiratory therapists, and rehabilitation specialists, including speech, occupational, and physical therapists, and many others. The team is strongest with all of its players.
