Abstract

In recent years Universities all over the UK have been bemoaning the lack of undergraduates studying Computer Science. Is this all because of the internet bubble bursting or is Computer Science Education as we know it irrelevant? Professor van der Kuyl will explore these thoughts and look at the factors behind some of the more successful Computer Science degrees in recent years. In addition, he will explore the demand side of Computer Science education and pose the question: "What do employers really want?", as opposed to: "What do employers think they want?.
