Abstract

The ways in which people use the internet via Personal Computers (PCs) and mobile phones are examined in the unique context of Japan where the majority of people use the internet via mobile phones. Applying the concept of internet connectedness, people's PC internet connectedness and mobile internet connectedness are compared.
