J Am Dent Assoc 2006;137(11):1529-36 1 To evaluate the 24-month performance of a high-viscosity glass ionomer restorative material and a packable resin-based composite with dentin bonding system in restorations placed into primary molars using the “atraumatic restorative treatment” (ART) technique. Both materials (GIC [glass ionomer cement] and resin-based composite/bonding system) were supplied by the manufacturer of the GIC material. No additional source of funding was identified.
