Abstract

This chapter focuses on managers, not just behaviors in general. Unfortunately, many organizations have poor managers or bad bosses - those who are likely to engage in B≈H and those who ignore B~H by others. Those poor managers or "bad bosses" may abuse their power, exhibit poor management skills, have poor people skills, or have personality issues or work styles that don't fit their positions in the organization. Dealing with poor managers or "bad bosses" is difficult for organizations but knowing the different kinds of managers' behaviors helps to better correct them.
