Abstract

The article discusses accidental attacks by animals. The author tells the story of a duck hunter in Utah who was accidentally shot in the buttocks when his dog stepped on loaded shotgun that the hunter left unattended while adjusting his decoys, a deer hunter who was shot by the reflexive kick of a dead deer, and a turkey hunter who was shot when the turkey he thought was dead thrashed about in the hunter's car truck disengaging a loaded shotgun.
