Abstract
Many of you will have had a look at the new public health White Paper, which came out on the 30th of November (Department of Health (DH), 2010). Many of you will also have noticed that ‘school nursing’ or ‘school nurses’ have received very little mention in the white paper. This might be because the DH is still ‘developing a new vision for school nurses’ as they alluded to at the CPHVA conference in October. The paper does state that (DH, 2001: 36).
