Abstract

I took constitutional law in my junior year of college as part of my broad‐area major. It wasn’t my favorite course of all time; I didn’t particularly enjoy reading all those cases. But what I learned in that class has stayed with me for more than 40 years. I’m not sure how many people take a course in constitutional law or pay close attention when the topic is covered in high school or college government class.
