Abstract
EVIDENCE-BASED ANSWER Dexamethasone/povidone-iodine eye drops decrease patient perception of the duration of viral conjunctivitis by 2.6 days compared with artificial tears, at the expense of more stinging (SOR: B, single RCT). Ketorolac eye drops offer no clinically significant benefits compared with artificial tears (SOR: A, consistent RCTs).
