Abstract
EVIDENCE-BASED ANSWER Nucleic acid amplification testing (NAAT) using selfcollected vaginal swabs is consistently more sensitive than using first-voided urine, but inconsistently more sensitive than using provider-collected endocervical swabs in women with or without symptoms (SOR: B, 3 multicenter, diagnostic cohort studies).
