Abstract
Rockwell Collins, a world leader in the design, production, and support of communications and aviation electronics solutions for commercial and government customers, recently funded a benchmarking study. The study aimed to improve the ability of Rockwell Collins' applications development department to deliver software solutions to its internal customers. The deliverables from this study included current performance, recommendations for improvement, and a database containing the department's historical project performance.
