Abstract

Murray Street, is just three blocks from where the World Trade Center once stood. Peter Goodrich, her husband, is a professor at Cardozo School of Law. Their son, Ronnie Mills Goodrich, 5, started kindergarten at Public School (P.S.) 234 on September 6, 2001. The school is located three blocks from where the North Tower fell. Linda and her family were displaced for 6 weeks following the attack on the World Trade Center. Ronnie’s school has been relocated twice. P.S. 234 was not occupied until four months after 9/11. Linda Mills is a Professor at New York University (NYU) in the Ehrenkranz School of Social Work and an Affiliated Professor at the NYU School of Law. She is the author of two books and several articles on intimate abuse. Professor Mills is a native of Los Angeles and taught at UCLA before moving to New York City.
