Abstract
ABSTRACTMany psychotherapists continue to work beyond retirement age. In this article, I discuss this topic in relation to previous articles on the death or incapacity of a psychotherapist, and research focused on the ageing psychotherapist by Orlinsky and Ronnestad, as well as ethical and professional considerations and my own experience as an ageing practitioner.
