Abstract

AbstractThe pace and extent of expanding religions holds essential lessons for business leaders and their corporations' international growth style. Monotheistic religions overtook polytheistic ones and the proselytizing religions expanded faster and farther. This lesson underscores the importance of alignment, as well as suggesting that corporations grow through acquisitions and promoting greater permeability at headquarters. This would improve the international allocation of headquarter capabilities as well as allow faster deployment of the talents acquired through global expansion.
