Choice is the key word when it comes to health care nowadays, but just how realistic is the choice of health care provision being proffered by both the major political parties in the months foreshadowing the next election? I am profoundly sceptical that any of the alternatives on offer have any real substance. Behind the choice word, the patient is faced with a lottery.
