Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of professionalism and human resource protection on welfare in informal sector female workers in Magelang City. The population in this study was all female informal sector workers in Magelang City. The sample from the study was 487 respondents, with a sampling technique using stratified random sampling. The data collection methods used are observation and questionnaire methods. Data analysis and testing using validity and reliability tests, hypothesis (t) tests, f tests and coefficients of determination with the SPSS 25 program. The results showed that professionalism has a positive effect on welfare, HR protection has a positive effect on welfare and professionalism and HR protection have a simultaneous effect on welfare. The conclusion of this study is proven that professionalism and protection of human resources have a positive role and influence on welfare.
