Abstract

The branching of the nerves which issue from the terminal abdominal ganglion and the structures innervated by these branches were studied in the cockroach Blabera craniifer. The results indicate in particular that the movor cercal nerve is only one branch of the tenth nerve (N 10b) and that the sensory cercal nerve is only one branch of the eleventh nerve (N 11c).
