Washington Gas Light Company is a regulated natural gas utility serving over 960,000 customers in Washington D.C., Virginia and Maryland as of Sep 30 2003. Hampshire Gas Company is a regulated natural gas storage business, serving Washington Gas Light Company. Washington Gas Energy Services, Inc. sells natural gas and electricity to the Washington D.C. area as well as Baltimore and Richmond. Washington Gas Energy Systems, Inc. designs cost‐saving energy systems for the commercial and government markets.
