Abstract

Earthly reality and its substance in God: An attempt of reinterpreting the transcendental metaphysics in the theology of revelation. The revelation of God in Christ as means of trust in a human world In an article written in the German language, the author strives to conceive a coherence of being of reality. He focuses his attempts on the revelation in Christ, thereby making the crisis of ecology and stress tolerable, following a critical assessment of the scholastic metaphysics of being, Mildenberger seeks the solution in the time of Christ. This leads him to interpret the present distress as being ontologically integrated with the future salvation. Man becomes part hereof by means of God's Word and Sacrament and finds the essence of reality rather in the good experienced by him.
