Abstract

This paper studies the initial boundary value problem of the Hirota–Satsuma system posed on the half line. u t − α u x x x + 6 u u x = 2 β v v x , x > 0 , t > 0 , v t + v x x x + 3 u v x = 0 , x > 0 , t > 0 , u x , 0 = u 0 x , v x , 0 = v 0 x , x > 0 , u 0 , t = f t , v 0 , t = g t , t > 0. . For − 1 / 8 < s < 3 / 2 , s ≠ 1 / 2 , we demonstrate that the abovementioned system is locally well-posed in H s ℝ × H 1 + s ℝ by utilizing several analytic boundary forcing operators.
