P016 WELL LOG INTERPRETATION IN THE MIOCENE FORMATION IN THE CARPATHIAN FOREDEEP WITH STATISTICAL METHODS Summary 1 An accurate prediction of the location of sandstones and shales using wireline logs in the Miocene sediments in the Carpathian Foredeep is not a simple problem due to the thin interbedded sandy-shale sequences.
