Welcome to the Winter 2023 Issue of IEEE Solid-State Circuits Magazine! [Editor’s Note]

Abstract

This first issue of the 15th year of <italic xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">IEEE Solid-State Circuits Magazine</i> is dedicated to the 2023 IEEE Donald O. Pederson Award in Solid-State Circuits and the 70th anniversary of the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC). The 2023 theme for ISSCC is “Building on 70 Years of Innovation in Solid-State Circuit Design.” At this year’s ISSCC, the 2023 IEEE Donald O. Pederson Award in Solid-State Circuits will be officially announced. This year’s award goes to Dr. Ingrid Verbauwhede “for pioneering contributions to energy-efficient and high-performance secure integrated circuits and systems.”
