Abstract
I would first like to welcome Prof. Weihua Zhuang, 2023 IEEE Vehicular Technology Society (VTS) president, to the first issue of the year of <italic xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">IEEE Vehicular Technology Magazine</i> . Weihua is a long-standing VTS volunteer (including positions such as editor-in-chief of <italic xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology</i> and vice president—publications), and I had the pleasure and honor of working closely with her over the past years. She is a committed, hard-working, and quality-driven professional and volunteer, and I am sure that she will have a strong, positive impact on the Society as VTS President. Weihua, I wish you all the best for your term as president and welcome your messages to our members in the magazine.
