Abstract

Two novels with LGBTQ themes and characters move queer young adult publishing beyond the usual coming-out stories and into more mainstream young adult genres. Vintage: A Ghost Story offers paranormal romance with an LGBTQ twist, while The Less Dead presents a queer take on serial killer fiction.
