As reflected in the speakers’ backgrounds and the topics presented, it is becoming harder to separate basic and clinical research as the field of human milk advances and they become more intertwined, highlighting that both basic and clinical research combined will be required to uncover the full potential of human milk
The Sixth ICHMSI began with a keynote speech on the differences between donor milk and mother’s own milk, as well as techniques that may help to promote the use of mother’s own milk and improve the quality of donor milk
Summary
