Abstract

The weight functions for one-dimensional cracks in plates are given mostly for the special case of loadings along the crack line. In the paper a weight function is indicated that allows stresses to be included which act at some distance from the crack. The solution for an edge crack in a rectangular plate is given as tables, which may be interpolated by cubic splines.
