Abstract
A supply chain is a network of suppliers, factories, warehouses, distribution centres and retailers, through which raw materials are acquired, transformed, produced and delivered to the customer. An effective and efficient way of managing this network is called a Supply Chain Management System (SCMS). In order to optimise the value flow in supply chain management, this paper discusses the components of web-based agile SCMS (ASCMS). The purpose of this paper is to analyse and design a web-based generic ASCMS.
