Abstract

The sheer volume of information can make searching the Web frustrating. The paper considers how the Resource Description Framework, with its focus on machine-understandable semantics, has the potential for saving time and yielding more accurate search results. RDF, a foundation for processing metadata, provides interoperability between applications that exchange machine understandable information on the Web.
