Abstract

The project entitled Web-Based soil suitability and Temperature Analyzer System for Carrot Crop with Decision Support is used for information of soil status nutrient status of the land in the and selected farms of Region XI. The data gathered throughout the Department of Agriculture testing session. According to the evaluation submitted by the Farmers, Faculty, Agriculturist, Students of SPAMAST Digos Campus, on March 2019 with a total of thirty-five (35) respondents, it was rated that the functionality of the system is very good. The methods used by the developer were Agile modelling as process model for the system. It also uses PHP programming language as a front end and XAMP as a database of the system and used for storage of credentials of the users. Using this application, the developer had created a program that can update, add, and modify by the administrator and search speedy. The project manager developed a system that can keep the credentials organized. However, result of the study revealed that the functionality of the functionality of the development of web-based soil suitability and temperature analyzer system for carrot crop with decision support in selected area of Region XI was functional in its features. The functionality, Reliability, and Accuracy of the system have a mean rating of 4.06 (given by the evaluators). This rating has qualitative description as good which means the system was functional in its features and the appearance was acceptable.
