Abstract
Using a wet wear test, a wear resistance is measured for Fe-Co-Si-B alloy glasses. The dependences of the cooling conditions and the metal composition on the wear resistance are investigated. The faster the cooling rate, the weaker the wear resistance becomes. Furthermore, the composition dependence of the wear resistance is correlated with the critical sample thickness of the glasses.
