Abstract

A weak-coupling expansion is developed for the supersymmetric Liouville quantum field theory defined on a circle. The zero-mode system (supersymmetric quantum mechanics with an exponential potential) is first solved exactly, and then nonzero-mode effects are incorporated as perturbations. The theory is translationally invariant, conformally covariant, and has a zero-energy ground state with 〈 ψψ〉 ≠ 0 .
